Sharing the Magic
Magic Land appeared after six months of searching for the best possible combination of away from everything and close to it all. We insisted that the land be bordered by forest, hold year round running water and have proximity to the trails of the Shenandoah National Forest. We discovered all of that and more with the Appalachian Trail a few hundred yards from our door making the experience that much better!

When you join friends for a retreat at Magic Land the activities match the seasons with morel mushrooms in spring, wine berries in summer and a brisk hike anytime of year. Each evening our Artists in Residence present their music and creations for your entertainment and attending experts in foraging, farming and off grid sustainable living offer morning and afternoon talks and workshops for those who choose.
